A credential is not a fake-profile verdict
LinkedIn says it is adopting C2PA and may show a Content Credentials icon on image and video content that carries a signed credential. The panel can expose whether AI was declared for all or part of an image, the app used and the issuer.
That icon is provenance context, not a statement that the person is fake. LinkedIn’s separate profile-photo rules focus on whether the image represents your likeness. ClearTags helps you inspect the file; it cannot verify identity or predict moderation.
