Why TikTok may tag a video as AI
TikTok says it may automatically label content it identifies as completely generated or significantly edited with AI. Attached C2PA Content Credentials are one documented way the platform can recognize such content.
TikTok also states that turning on its creator disclosure does not affect distribution as long as the post follows Community Guidelines. ClearTags therefore does not promise a reach increase and is not a bypass tool; it lets you understand the publishing file and protect unrelated private metadata.
